I've heard a few times on this forum about cf hood flying up on peoples cars but I really don't want to get hood pins cuz I think they're ugly. Is this something I should be worried about?

They're like 1/3 of the weight of stock hoods, so it takes less force to push them up. Sure, they use the stock latch, but it's usually bolted to the fiberglass skeleton, or laid into the fiberglass, and while it's pretty strong, it can fail under the right circumstances.
