I've had a CAi since 1997. Drove through hurricane Floyd back in 1999 on the way down to NOPI (800 miles) one way then we drove through the second part on the way back home. No problems whatsoever. You've got to be an idiot to hydrolock your engine.

kinda new to the scene so please excuse my noobness...

about hydrolocking...

i had my engine bay power washed and i drove it around just fine but a day later the engine starting "bucking" and i was getting very little power from the engine or course i shut the car down immediately...is this hydrolocking?

i was luckily only 5 minutes from my dealership, so i gave them a call and brought it in for them to look at..when i picked it up later that day, they said i got some water in the engine and they drained it and everything is fine now...

so if i did experience hydrolocking, what kind of damage are we talking about?

btw, i still have the stock intake setup...

You prolly got water in the spark plug holes or on the distributor.
