my car as some of you know, ride of the week currently, i was running a mountain pass that im fully aware of, tho in a turn i went too fast, my car oversteer and i crash head on to the muddly enbankment destroying my front bomex bumper, then turnin around to crack half of my rear bumper. my radiator support is push in bout 4 inches and my upper support for the hood latch is push down bout 2 inches. car still run and drives fine. all cosmetic work and a bit of frame work.

its been a sad 24 hours for me. its my daily driver too. sucks to me now. say goodbye to the bomex Si. all stock counterparts r on the way now. just venting out my sadness.

its funny, you can push and push on these cars, day in, day out, every time the same way, the same speed...

and then one day, out of no where, that same pass youve taken 100x lets you down and before you know it youre squeeling tires to avoid the guard rail.

F.F. can be unpredictable at times, but thats why you got insurance.

btw, usually the insurance company will just cut you a check for new factory parts, (by law they OWE you NEW factory parts), and you can go and use that on aftermarket stuff.

 

Sorry to hear that mang. Always loved your car. Made me wanna get a hatch. Hopefully you could square things away with your insurance to get you back on the road...

 

You serious bro' ? I thought that you had already begun to put it back to stock . Are the headlights and everything okay, and are you even going to claim it through your insurance?

sorry to hear that...glad your fine...let insurance deal with the damage.

 

im not dealin with insurance cuz i just got some estimates for the radiator support and upper support, cost is roughly 60-150 bukks to straighten out. bumpers, i got some on the way, used for 50 bukks each.

the headlamps r okay cept one of the bracket needs to be glue bakk cuz it broke off. one of my vision corners rip apart and crakk. my fenders r a little push so those r gonna be replace also.

im payin for all repairs out of my own pocket cuz it would just gimme a ton of hassle with insurance, and i need the car asap cuz its my daily driver (approx 30-50 miles on it everyday) and my pops is super pissed. ironiclly my income tax check just came in yesterday. perfect timing.

that suck man, i just had a little messup myself costing me a new tire and front bumper....... hopes every thing goes well

how demolished is the front? they do wonderful things with fiberglass these days, my friend fixed his buddy club front that way with a lot of time and patience

only thing you gotta roll to sac to get them

 

that's one of my biggest fears, crashing into a wall or something doing crazy turns. oh well its fun hopefully your car will be good again
