That's really good info doood. I just need to upgrade the rear to disc's at least. For the front, I am doing a different swap, possibly. Definitely need to search for the e-brake cable and MC. Did you say 4th gen?

Curious...which fronts are u going to use?

My research tells me that the 1991 Civic EX sedan has the 15/16 MC that bolts onto the stock booster of our DX/LX. Im probably going that route for my setup.

The RS Integra MC also bolts up but you need the matching booster.

Also, if you want to, get a 40/40 prop valve from a 93-95 Si hatchback or a 90-93 Integra. I got my 40/40 off a 91 Integra. Bolts right up. I've heard its recommended...but not required.

The GSR/ITR MC is nice...but will probably be overkill on my current setup. If I dont find the parts I need...I'll probably go with the ITR and try to rebend/reflare lines myself h:

Just for a little bit of clarification:

From my personal experience,
If you get a GSR MC/booster, you will need to re-bend both brake lines, AND reflare one of the brake lines.

If you get a ITR MC/Booster, you will only need to re-bend the brake lines. You DO NOT need to reflare the lines.

Sorry, I know I asked you this before at one time, but how did you bend the lines? Did you use a tool or do it by hand?

Yeah I kind of ran into the same problem. I used del sol rear disc brakes for my upgrade. I ended up getting the lines from a 92-95 civic sedan that had the brake lines I needed. I did it in parts, so the next day I went and got the correct MC. It made a big difference on the distance I had to press on the brake pedal. For me, I think I needed the PV from an integra RS which is supposed to fit right in without any bending.

Good info Colin. You're doing a how-to right :squint:?

I still wish I knew why my EX didn't come with all wheel disc brakes, yet I have ABS :dunno:.

If I keep my car, I plan on doing this sometime in the future, so this is awesome information, thanks DiEW!

Since we are on brake's, i just did a gsr disc on the rear. (94 DX Coupe). Doing a B18C1 later with a disc convertion on the front. What's the main benefit for changing the MC. Did not think of this during the whole change. Higher psi or ??

Pedal travel greatly reduced allready. On order, steel lines, aem pads, slotted disc.
