B18b engine swap
If you go for a B20, try your damdest to find the B20Z. Its higher compression, and unlike the B20B, its actually got a top end.
With I/H/E and a cat, that car makes almost as much hp as a B16a, and 30-40 more lb ft of torque.
Oh yeah, and as far as I know, the only maintenance problem you'd encounter with the B20 is being a moron and boosting the bejesus out of it without building it up first.

Are there wiring issues with putting a B18B1 in a 5th gen? oddly enough I have never seen this swap in person. I would love a boosted B18B1.

I got my swap done for about 5g's. And if your going to get a swap, get a TypeS engine, or a B18C ITR engine.

And if hes asking about a B18B, he definitely doesn't have the money for the b18c5 engine, which unless you've got very specific goals, isn't really worth the money anyways, IMO.

:slap: A type S engine has never been swapped to a 5th gen before, as far as I know, and although possible, would involve thousands of dollars of custom fabrication and shipping your car off to a custom shop or HAsport for weeks or months.

195 to compared to what... 160 hp? Or, swap in a GS-R engine.
