Default Brake swap help

Hello folks-

I have a problem I hope someone has a solution to. I recently put Integra GSR front knuckles on my 92 civic CX (to get bigger brakes). I was pretty concerned about the performance (safety) of the 13/16ths brake master cylinder that is stock on the 92 cx, so I did some research and decided to go with a 15/16ths MC off of a 92-95 civic EX or SI. As it's only 1/16ths smaller than the one that originally pushed the GSR brakes. So here begins my problem... I found all this info on brake swap threads here, and somewhere along the way I swear I was at a web page that had a listing of every year of civic and the MC bore that it came with. I Then bought a brake booster and MC from a guy on here (I won't flame him till I know he ripped me off...) but any way....he SAID it was off of a 95 civic SI, but now that I have it...the MC says RIGHT ON IT that it's a 13/16! Can this be? I thought I had done all my research and was getting a 15/16th! can anyone hook me up with a link that lists the year and bore size of a 95 civic SI? or perhaps the casting for the cylinders are the same? or something like that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

yes you got ripped. if it's says 13/16, then it is NOT from a civic Si.

If you want a MC that isn't too much of a hassle, you can also go with a 1990-92 4th Gen honda civic 4-door ex MC as it is also a 15/16 MC.

92-93 Si had 13/16", 94-95 civic Si has 7/8. No 5th gen civic to my knowledge had a 15/16" MC and NO abs/. I don't think you got ripped off, I think you just didn't research properly. If it was 15/16, it would've had to have abs, and you'd need to bend/reflare lines regardless.

The best thing to get would be either the 15/16 MC/Booster from a 94+ teg RS, which bolts right up, or the MC from a 90-91 civic EX sedan, which was 15/16" and bolts up to your stock booster.

You didn't get taken man, you just didn't order right basically.
