Please help...mini-me swap
I'm so close to buying this head but I really need to know if it will actually fit. It is a d16z6 from a 1995 civic SI and it includes the valve cover, timing belt, complete cylinder head w/ vtec solenoid.
I have a 1995 civic DX sedan automatic, will this head directlly bolt on to my engine and will i be able to use all the parts that are currently in there like intake, header? will I be needing a new intake manifold and new distributor?

you can keep your dist, but only 2 of the 3 bolts will bolt up. Not a problem. Other than that, it should slap right on there, wire up vtec, plug in a p28 ecu and you're ready to go. Things you'll need: antifreeze, oil, torque wrench, head gasket, new intake manifold gasket. And yes, your header will work just fine.

yeah it will fit bro, but when you put the head on be sure to take out one of the oil squirters. there should be one in you block and one in the vtec head i believe you take the one from the block.
