Default stereo

I have a stock CD player - it sucked up a Cd and now it doesnt play - it reads: ER-01.
Any advise??

well, you could always get a new stereo, and then once the old one is out, open it up and get your cd out. i've had to do that before.

Do you have a CD changer mounted anywhere? Everything I found concerning Honda factory players point to a jammed cartridge with the error code of 01 :dunno:

I dont have a changer. It's a seperate CD player that plugs into the headunti- two seperate pieces that plug into one

i'm thinking maybe the CD got jammed in there. anyone want to tell her how remove just the CD player and not the tuner (if possible)? i'm guessing the whole thing might have to come out as one though, huh?

btw, it's a 99 civic DX.
