Default anyone know?

ok, i am looking for this thing that acts just like the butterfly in the throttle body. except it's made to be connected onto the exhaust with a manual cable line for you to control how open or how much closed you want the butterfly to be. i believe it's an univeral part cuz the diameter they have are 60mm. but i remember reading in one of the car mags... but now i can't find the damn thing or even find it on line. can someone help me out???

well, here is the reason why i would want one.
1) most exhaust comes with 60mm piping, which is 2.25". for most NA tune setup, it's best to run with 2" piping... because u'll get to keep the low end torque part too. especially on a SOHC engine... 2.25" is too much thus hurts the performance on the low end.

2) by using this... i can adjust the passage of exhaust flow from my greddy evo exhaust and thus would help me out a bit on the low end part.

3) this kinda of part is mainly used on turbo setup, in which i'll be running later this year when edelbrock releases their D16 turbo kit.

yeah i too have seen it in super street... but i can't find it no more... damn!

I'm pretty sure I saw it in the JCWhitney Sport Compact Issue. Might check there if you can't find it elsewhere. I think they have a website.

1. i have a 60mm end on my header then out the cat is a 60mm pipe out....i dont have a problem getting out of the hole..i run a 2.4 which is what a gsr or si would run stock. so i guess im going fine.
