bouncy suspension solution
I have stock 1992 civic hatch vx suspension with some cheasy R1 coilovers. I've had the coilovers for about a year now and seems to be fine, but ever since I put some 17's on my ride, the ride has been bouncy as hell. I go over a dip, not a hole, but a dip and I can just hear my low pro's rubbing on the fender wells. Solutions to this problem? Within reason of course. I make $170 a week just to give you an insight on spending troubles. Anyone that gives me advise would be much appreciated. Thanks
So does it also do the same on your stock wheel and tire setup? You mention that the low pro's are rubbing. Do you mean the tires, or the actual suspension?
My best guess is that you need new shocks for your ride (I don't know if you do have aftermarket shocks, you failed to mention it). www.groupbuycenter.com is a good place to find some aftermarket shocks for your ride.
Although this might not be your problem, it could be a factor. Others might be able to elaborate on your dilemma.

is your car slammed or what? how much is it lowered anyways? I would suggest adjusting your coilovers, go 6mm higher at a time.
I had a rubbing problem after I dropped my teg, so I just had to adjust it. this was when I had 16's on.
as for the ride being bouncy, unless you buy $500 coilovers, with new shocks and everything, its gonna be bumpy. stock shocks on aftermarket springs=shocks wearing out and (or) bumpy ride.
good luck adjusting them.

I don't have a kit, but trust me they look just fine on my ride. The car is still on the ground with a 3.25" drop. I do have stock shocks with R1 coilovers. Also, the tires are rubbing up inside the fender well of my civic. If you have ever seen a bare civic fender well, there is a strip of metal that runs parallel with the tire. This is a problem because it could cut my tire. If I raise my ride some, the bounce will still be there. I am taking your advise about those kyb agx.... are those just the shocks or are they a whole coilover. Also, is there any other vital components to my suspension that would be WORTH upgrading.... Such as camber kit? Anything to help out the ride... Thanks again

Common sense will tell you being that low is not right.
