no camber kit... my vx wheels looked like // \\ my 17's don't though. Also, explain camber kit. Does it replace any hardware or is it just bushings. Also, who makes a good camber kit... thanks

its basically a spacer that allows adjustment of the camber to keep your wheels like || ___|| Watch your tire wear on the inside with those 17s. it might not look as bad, but its an illusion. they will wear worse b/c the corners are less flexible on a low profile. also investigate a camber kit. i dont remeber brand names b/c i'm not lowered enough to need one.

you are very low profile tires. you are 3.25 inches lower than stock height. you are running cheap coilovers. you are running stock shocks.

of course you will bounce.

exactly my point. I need advise on what I can upgrade to keep my stance and yet have a better ride. I don't know a whole lot about suspension systems.

my advice is go with 16 inch rims and tires...or even 15 inch rims and tires. Civics were not meant to have 17 inch rims. the more "tire" ...the more cushioning. upgrade your suspension parts with quality parts. you get what you payed for. 3.25 inch drops were meant for show...on street/daily driving, it is ridiculous. your stock shocks have no travel on such a drop. this is only my advice. its your car...you dont have to take it.

if you decide to keep your setup the way it is...best way to go is to get sport shocks such as the Koni Sport (yellow) which can allow extreme drops such as yours with the adjustable perches to allow for better piston travel. this way you wont be "bottoming out" as much.

If you want to stay that low, you might want to consider drop forks. I believe Suspension Techniques makes them and they drop the car 2" down without much degrade in ride quality. I've never *seen* them but my friend was talking about them :dunno:

Believe me, I don't plan to keep my 17's. Actually, im considering selling them so that I can get the rest of my money for my supercharger. I was going to invest in some 15" wheels w/ drag radials. I definitely would like to do that. I just gotta get those wheels sold. : )
JRSC 9lbs :naughty:
