im sorry, but if your car is only a few years old and the syncros need replacing, its not because honda made a bad tranny. its because you dont respect the car. you cant just slam it into gear like that. the syncros are there so you dont have to match the revs *exactly* every time you shift. so just because you CAN man-handle it into third as soon as you redline second, doesnt mean you should. when i got my GSR i noticed that it would crunch in third if i shifted it quickly after revving high in second. this just means you need to be more gentle with the car. just wait for the revs to drop for half a second and then itll slide right into gear.
