ES has oval mufflers and then their canisters. You might be thinking about the canister mufflers.

I gotta question...this is kinda hard to word but I'll try my best. Anyways, here it goes. I love the way my catback sounds right now, but the muffler is kinda getting old and rusted. If I get the ES oval and have a shop chop off my old muffler and weld the ES oval in, would the new setup with the ES muffler sound just like my old setup (since the piping and resonator is the same)? If anyone could clear this up, that'd be great. Thanks

the different muffler shud change the sound a bit, but if your old muffler is just a straigt thru, maybe it wont be too different.
