the moldings dont really help when our cars are slammed anyways and we are parked next to a suburban. i learned this with my old 5th gen when a wind gust put a trucks door right by my door handle....
anyways looks good man, my freind, super laubo, is doing the same thing with the same process as you...its taking him hella long also though cuz fiberglass and bondo is smelly
also the strong bar seems like it a little functional

ohhhhhh yah dude on HT there was a buy for vision/spoon copies for 160 me and the doood were gonna buy some but i gotta see the peoples comments on who got htem first

bondo has a nasty habit of absorbing water...but welding in a plate and then using bondo is no better. There really is no good fix.

Cause to fix all the dings my whole door would've been bondo'd up. Not a big fan of bondo even though it's my best friend right now. Anyways I really don't think the side moldings do much. I think they are just too low to really be any good. Just my opinion though.

Rather have 'em shaved. Look helluva a lot better.
I'm nto sure if I'll shave them yet tho. I might just take the molding of the front fenders and put amber side markers there. But I do have to replace my passenger side door side molding. Who knows what'll happen.

i'm not shaving the rain gutters. That where most of your welds for your roof are. If for some reason you had to get to those welds, and it was covered with fiberglass and so forht you'd be in a mess of trouble. That's pretty much where the sides of your car are welded to your roof. Plus I'd hate all that water running on top of my window. I dunno. I guess it'd look cool shaved, I plan to just get new liner for the rain gutters.

i have shaved the antenna though. I always hated that stupid cow lick antenna. I might do the emblems and winshield water squirters for fun.

The side moldings will be the biggest thing. I really like the smooth look.
