OK. Finished the adjustment. Thanks for the help.
Why did it seem like the valves were all adjusted to tight? I thought that they would have been loose.

Could have been that the valve seats wore rather than the valvetrain, causing the valves to sit higher in the seats than when the engine was new.

OK. I've read a few places where people have had the same thing. I wondered if them being to tight was a bad thing?
