Default very sad weekend, pics :(

well thursday night was the demise of my little hatch with only 69,089 miles on the clock

i was hit by a ford econoline panel van and my car was totalled while turning left at an intersection. the accident was ruled no fault which means he gets nothing and i get nothing and neither of us will be fined or have any points added to our licenses

well heres the pics i took that night, i will get more of the kink in the roof and the a-pillar/door gap tomarrow

the impact was so hard it cracked the dashboard inside, put the hood through the windsheild, and crushed the floorpan on the passenger side

i had a sore ankle and a "sprained" wrist which i just found out today is broken, but this has been more of an emotional thing for me than anything. this car was my first car and my life basically, all me and my friends do are work on our cars.

goodbye my friend R.I.P.

thanks for ur support guys heres what happened

i was in a part of town im not very familliar with and was in the left turn lane with my buddy following. there were 2 lanes (including the turning lane) on my side of the intersection and one in the oncoming direction. both of my lanes got the light and i waited a few secounds and went thinking the other direction had a delayed light. when i was half way through the guy in the van relized he had a green as well and he punched it w/o looking and hit my car. i spun around and did a 180 on to a sidewalk and he hopped the sidewalk and hit a lightpole and knocked the street light off of it. the van only had a big dent in the bumper from the pole.

i am very seriously considering a 5th gen hatch w/ a GSR swap that the owner of my shop has as an everyday driver (his good car is a turbo ITR)

wait a second, i'm still not comprehending the situation, i understand what happened and how it maybe was considered a no fault but i don't understand why neither of you get nothing, i mean its not like neither of you weren't insured.... theres a reason you pay insurance...

sorry about the car, good to see that you're mostly physically ok.
