hey guys im new to these forums. i was wondering i have two civic's. I have a 2000 civic ex 5 spd coupe. and i have a 2000 civic si 5 spd coupe. i was wondeing what can i do to gain more hp and more torque? i mean do i have to get a b18c motor? if i do where do i get one and how do i put it in? any suggestions?? thanks to any responses given.

intake, header, exhaust and an upgraded clutch is a good place to start.

Friend of mine's got a 2000 Si with the b16a in it. He installed a t3/t4 turbo, large front mount, AEM fuel rail, AEM stand alone computer management system, Type S BOV, and numerous other goodies and his Si put out 359.6 hp at the front wheels... don't know how fast it is yet though.

Turbo's the way to go...

cool but what motor does the ex come with and what motor does the si come with?

please dont take any advice from this girl....



get a bolt on turbo kit, you will have a blast with it...try apexi, or greddy, or revhard...

he doesnt even know what motor comes in his cars and your tellin him to go turbo. theres alot involved with a turbo.. he should start with basic stuff for now

hmm hey xbaby i dont know because im lazy to get up and go look btw i have some knowledge in cars not as much as some ppl here but i know the most part. plus i hardly go with the performance stuff i go more for the show and stuff like sound/multimedia and shiz/hehe...juss wanted to know because i was wonderign where the b16, b18c motors come from like what car?
