All it takes is a little patients and some research. If you blow your motor with a Greddy kit, you're dumb... simple as that.
h:Research a turbo and spend your money there.
BTW, you have a B16A2 in your car, not a B16. It puts out about 160 chp.
Check out www.bseries.net for more info on the B16A2.
Your EX has a D16Y8 with 127 chp. The EX motor is a SOHC VTEC and the Si motor is a DOHC VTEC.

XBaby: A thicker head gasket will raise your compression ratio. I think your talking about a block gaurd.

A thicker gasket will LOWER your cr as it moves the head further from the piston thus creating LESS compression.
A thinner head gasket will raise your compression.
