glaring does suck, if you wanna get hid's get an hid projector and do a retrofit, or do what i did, and rip off the projectors from a crashed new model chevy and slap some HID's in there and call it a day, more than enough light output. I believe you meant to say 8000k by the way. Don't mess with blue, you'll get a ticket and you get less visible like than white. stay around 4500 - 5000K. That's closest to natural light, and you'll actually be able to see. As for the size, go to the sylvania website, put your make and model in, and they'll give you all the bulb sizes. Just keep in mind that these Chinese companies who make these cheapo HID systems tend to size the bulbs by motorcycle sizes also. You should be able to just tell them it's for a del sol and they'll give you the right size. Just to be safe, check sylvania. Oh and, if you're doing it yourself, don't pay 70 from some schmoe who got it off of eBay. Get it from eBay yourself. I hope that helps.

Or buy a set of projector headlamps(good quality TYC etc.) and throw HIDs in those.

Go with this if you want to keep your stock headlight housing. you still keep you Hi.Low beams and it has a projector so that you dont blind people.

Those do look good. I wonder if these have the same problem cheap angel eyes/projectors have: They're crap. These do look a little better made then most though....

Ummm.... just because they're projectors, don't mean that they're meant for HIDs. If you're gonna go HID, do it properly. ACCOUNTABILITY!

That's true, but in this case the projectors are for HIDs. :chuckles:
