Well I dont want to rain on your parade...how many miles on the car? How mechanically fit is it? If you have problems now, NOS is only going to make it worse. Make sure your car is able to handle a NoS boost. ON stock internals I know you can handle a 55 shot zex kit. When you go into 75+ shots, you will have to upgrade fuel system, like higher flow injectors...bigger fuel pump etc etc.

Im by no means a expert in cars, ive just done a TON of research on Nos kits. If you would like some sites, PM me...i have a few different forums that deal with nothing but Nos, Im still considering using a 55shot in my 2k EX, just cause i would like to wait till the factory warrenty is gone. My car has 15k miles on it, been threw 1 wreck, which some pieces still broke.

im happy that after you made such a STUPID statement you added the disclamer that you have no idea what you are talkign about... i have a d16y8.. lightly modded with a 60-70 DRY shot that i run almost EVERY WEEKEND.. and have had NO problems...

the kit is NOS 5122 or 5120.. something like that.. its PERFECT.. post ANY questions you MIGHT have about nitrosu and i can TRY to help you with real world expieriance...

Hows is that a stupid statement?

Just cause you run a 60-70hp shot (which btw if you look at my post, i said 75+ shots) doesnt mean everyone car is able to run that much. Its not smart thing to do unless your mods and internals can handle it. So explain to me why thats stupid...whats stupid is that people who are new to NOS go ahead and throw in a 75-125hp shots and BOOM. Then he thinks well that forum guy saaid it was ok to do. Come on man, use your head.

Another thing..what light mods you have in your car? 55 shot is safe 60 is safe, on most d16 nos'ed engines ive heard of alot of people say that higher then 60 is not noticable...lack of a good fuel pump...fuel system cant handle the amount.

Like i said before...im not a expert...but reading and reading and reading about it. I think before you go off and tell a person about your setup that runs 75hp ..with a Exhaust and intake, you should think about what could happen if their cars cant handle it. Flame me, yell at me...curse me.

There's your answer ... you READ. I've got friends running 60-75shots all the time. An SI will do with 75 fine, if you do it right.

the ONLY part about your post that i found annoying.. (no offense of course) is the underlying fear of nitrous oxide injection... and the stating of the obvious.. OF course if he has a motor problem it would be ill advised to suggest to spray the motor.. BUT for the most part its rediculously safe.. i mean like obsurd safe.. IF the fuel pump fails the kit will shut off.. its designed that way.. there is a fuel pressure saftey switch (not that i use it cause i don't) but its WAY safer than some other things that add power... i guess i JUST get annoyed that there is like this thing about it... whever people talk about it its liek oh no not nos.. oh no... adn thats SO silly...
