lighting problem

Default lighting problem

can anyone tell me what would cause my driver-side light to just stop working its not a fuse i check those...can anyone shine some light(no pun intended) on this problem.thanks

bulb burn out? faulty wiring to the bulb.. harness??

i did check the bulb and the harness but they look fine what else should i look for?

did u actually try replacing the bulb 1st? it costs $1.99 for 2, or u could just switch it with the one from the passenger side. h ave a 10 yr old civic, and a 7 yr old accord... the wiring has always been ok...

My money is on the bulb is burnt.

Exactly. When I said "check" the light, I ment replace. Light bulbs can look fine even when they are burnt out.

sometimes true...but usually the filament is burnt and u can hear it rattle if you shake the bulb, it's pretty obvious.

I've had this problem before and it was a bad ground. There's a little white/clear connector just behind the headlight that is rectangular with a metal tab that comes out of this. This metal tab has a hole in it where it is supposed to be bolted to the body. You didn't remove this by chance did you? If so, you have removed a ground from the headlight wiring.

Just a thought.
