Most cars (stock) are programmed such that you need to shift to 3rd to hit 100km/h (62.5mph).
Of course. That's the key to the 1-2 shift, hitting 0-60 with these 2 gears....

What mods have you done with your SI? Any ECU upgrade or remap? Otherwise I find it hard to believe because you will hit the rev limiter at about 58 mph. I'm sure other SI drivers can verify.

i am going to see if i can get a leftover 2002 rsx but the civic coupe looks like my best bet. i am also going to look into the nissan ser spec v because that is cheaper than the rsx but faster thn the coupe.
