'93 Golf VR6
being over in Europe, VW parts probably aren't as expensive as they are over here (thats one of the big reasons why I'd never buy a VW). That VR6 will be substantially faster than your DX and handle better as well. If there is no problems with it, and you're not too attached to your Civic, I'd say go for it.
