So, you're wanting to exchange your Civic for a Golf, right? Pardon my Swedish-English understanding of your post.

Just going off of the driving conditions in Sweden, I'd have never gotten a Civic. You'll have better handling with the Golf. You'll still have a sporty, better quality (in my opinion) motorcar than the Civic. BMW or VW would have been my choice for your location. So basically what I'm getting at is that I'd get the VW.

You really need to make sure that the car doesn't have any major problems that you'd have to repair. I'd hate for you to get a car only to have to have difficulties.

Hope you make the best choice, friend.

Thanx!

But i think the BMW isn't a safe car in sweden, cuz bmws is RWD and RWD on snow isn't safe..but i understand u, but i belive that this Golf wouldn't stay longer, cuz im in love with honda engines ...i think i will exchange the Golf into a Honda later on, but im not sure..

Hmm, good point with the RWD. I was thinking about my SAAB, instead of my old VW. I still wonder why you would have bought a Civic living where you do.

I wouldn't keep the VW out of the equation simply because you like Hondas more.

hmmm, but i would like to have an unusual car like the Civic '92, its not directly unusal, but compairing with Bmws and VWs its unusual!

And the fuel prices is so expensive here in sweden, so Bmws and VW needs alot of fuel comparing with Honda, but Honda gives you the power without taking as much fuel as bmw and vw..and thats a good point..

I would trade worse gas mileage for what I'm gaining.

Opal, Pungot and VW are a few I'd look into (tho I think I tore up the spelling on the first two names h: )
