Default 92-95 stereo removal

Anyone who has removed the stereo in a 92-95 Civic knows that there are (2) screws that hold the stereo's back to the metal braketry. Well, these are round head screws. There is very little room back there for even a small screwdriver.

How do I take those (2) screws out?

I don't think that this is normal. I think they're supposed to be bolt/screws so I can use a socket wrench ...

are you sure that the screws are actually holding in the cd player, i just took mine out not to long ago and there were no screws holding it in, only little metal flaps on cd player that angle out so they hold it in. feel around fro those, i couldnt actually see them, i just pushed out on it pretty hard and it popped out. check to be sure those screws hold it in before you try and mess with em.

also, try on the audio board, might get alittle better knowledge in this subject

All you need is a BFH and a screwdriver.

Yea, I know about that but you see that last step where it says there are 2 screws or whatever. I can't get those out. There is so little room back there.

I'll try again when it's warmer out.

That's what I was thinking too, they make something like that for a rachet? Because I ghettoed one, but it didn't work too well.
