Default Civic Vx problem

My friend has a 1992 civic vx, you know the e-vtec civic, lately it's been doing very poor mileage on a full tank of gas. we checked the timing and it was alright (at least we think so). What is the normal timing on that car? and does anybody have a suggestion about what else the problem could be?

you know you need to get a valve adjustment every 15k miles, right. If you let it go past 20k, it'll run like sh*t.

Sounds like it's time to man up and get that swap he's always dreamed about.

how exactly do you do that? Is that something I can do myself, or is it something to leave to the pros?

vtec-e is a pretty precise and sensitive setup. If youre not sure, then leave it to the pros. the last thing you want to do is pay out the @ss to fix what you've messed up.

I always thought it was 30k :dunno:

I'm way overdue on my 30k valve adjustment already
