does a header means a difference on a d16y8?

what the differences between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 header, and one piece and 2 piece?

also which brand is good?

4-2-1 is generally 2 piece, while 4-1 is usually 1 piece, correct me if im wrong?? the 4-2-1 is for those of us who drive the sohc civics, it helps with low end power... the 4-1 is better for dohc civics for the same reason there... basically for different applications. i myself am sporting a 2-piece dc replica 4-2-1 SS header.

i purchased it on ebay. it stood out as DC replica 4-2-1 SS header. i compared it to a real one at a nearby import shop, and it was amazingly identical. just some slight differences, nonetheless i was pleased.

the headers will provide better results when mated with an intake and exhaust.

i would go with a dc sports 4-1 ceramic 1 peice header. you do not need to replace the cat unless you have a dx lx or cx where the cat is built in the stock exhaust manifold.
