actually, my cat is after the downpipe....

it doesnt line up correctly though, it forms a V where they meet so it leaks, high flow within the next few days...

it breathes easier... maybe a little better gas mileage but nothing noticeable without complimenting exhaust and intake, and even after that its more or less in the lower powerband.

if its up on the header in front of the engine, you may have to do a full catback with a new header. i recommend high flow and for those who dont care about pollution, a straight pipe. ill keep the cat, so i dont have to change anything out for emissions.

oh BTW this is what the STOCK header and downpipe look like on a 92-95 civic DX. the single output end is where my cat connects to.

i exchanged that for this

i have a 98 civic ex coupe, and my cat is behind my resonator. if i get one of those replicas, would the downpipe be too long or too short which would lead to modify my catback?

also does all headers come with the downpipe?

thx

i would love to tell you, but im not too keep on the 6th gen civics. like i said what i posted for my header is strictly for the 5th gen DX, but if the cat is behind the resonator then im guessings its underneath the middle of the car?

and yes a header wouldnt be complete without the downpipe... mine was a 4-2-1, 2 piece.
