when i got my first ticket (i've had many, many more since) i went to TSS (traffic safety school) and got a 3 point reduction. my ticket was 6 points (4 points plus another two for probationary license). my insurance company found out about it and they've been fucking me in the ass ever since :madfawk:

btw - i've had so many speeding tickets that the only insurance company that will take me is progressive. that's why i'm taking it in the ass - dry.

and you know what's the worst part? i did this to myself. god damn lead foot

 

I would fight it. I got 3 speeding tickets (DOH!) in the span of a year (yeah didn't learn my lesson) - so the points added up that I lost my license for 2 weeks! Longest two weeks of my life. Well I went to court for two of them with a lawyer and the lawyer worked his magic at one of them, and the 2nd one the cop never showed up. So both tickets got thrown out. The lawyer cost me $250 for both cases and I got back $550 refund.

Now I only speed 5-10mph the limit.

 

When I got a speeding ticket (#7 in 4 years...oops) two weeks ago, the cop told me that I'm getting skrewwwed because I'm 21 and driving a sports car... I guess he thinks a civic is a sports car... and its not even stick!

 

its your first ticket. they'll more than likely send you to traffic school when you go to court, move the citation to a non-moving voilation. it won't go on your record.

 

if it's your first voilation and u are a minor, they will let u take traffic school and it won't go on your record or anything AND insurance WON'T go up at all, so it will be like it never happend just don't get another one, and u will be fine

oh i remember when i got my first ticket and my second and so on...the courts never made me go to school the first time so insurance found out, the second time, they suspended my license for 3 months (but i didnt listen to that and drove anyways without my license) and had to go to school. even by going to school, i think my insurance found out, not sure though.

now when im speeding and see a cop, i just dont stop. you'll see me on those "Wildest Cop Video" shows
