I meant that they were never mass produced. DIY is nothing new.

 

So you're saying that clears were never made for the Del Sol. It is available for the Accord Wagon, and I know that car is more rare than the Del Sol.

 

such could be the case, but i havent EVER seen any sols with aftermarket tails besides the tezzas (minus the 3 rare 50/50's)

 

I was wondering if you could either show me how to make those or if you would make some and sell them to me Let me know, I am SICK of altezza's and don't like orange on my stock ones. Thanks.

someone rearended me last week...

but a friend has been working on custom 50/50 tails for me, so I'm set.

Man, sux to get rearended. Looks like you might need a new bumper too.

I know he said it looks less white in person, but it looks kinda cheap. No stock tailight is smooth. They all have texture to them on the inside. IMO, it would look better if it stayed clear with texture somehow. Good luck and post pics when you get it alll worked out.

Just paint the outer part of the lights a dark gunmetal color and it'll make the world of difference. The reason they look cheap is cause of that light silver color around the outside.

Or you could cut out the part of the lense that's covering the lights with a dremel and paint the rest body color. Kinda Skyline-ish.

 

Those are the lights that are on my Sol right now...as soon as it gets out of the body shop, I am putting the stock ones back on. Altezza's are like a disease, infecting everything!!!

 

Well, if you decide to rid yourself of these tail lights, please let me know. I'd be interested in talking to you about them as I'd like to replace my stock tail lights and I kinda like these...
