aight cool, you should only use a quart, runs for about $20 for ppg paint. with clear use about the same thing b/c with a quart of clear, and you mix it 1/1 or even 1/2 with the hardener depending on which brand you go with, the clear should have a kit, ie, clear, hardener, and reducer.

wetsand everything down first with a light grit paper and just skuff it up a bit so the paint will stick, and what i said about if you mess up, it doesnt apply here since you are doing it with a spray gun.
thanks!!!!! is there any other pointers u might want to give?

i thought u were supposted to lay the paint first and then clear over that!?!?!?!?

just make sure after you wetsand, make sure they are clean, get some pre-cleaner at the paint store also. and rub them on the parts RIGHT b4 you start to paint. i would suggest you use nothing rougher than an 800 grit. just scuff the parts up a bit.

wait about 15min after each coat to continue, if not longer.

dont use toooo much hardener, it will turn the clear yellow.

I'd suggest taking off the mirrors and the side valence rather than masking around them. It's so much easier that way.

Definately get more info from your local shop.

What color is your car? If its silver, your gunna have a hell of a time matching perfectly.

I recommend painting your skirts and mirrors a color thats on the opposite end of the spectrum than the color of your car. IE, BRIGHT YELLOW!!! That would be siiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccckkkkkkkkk.

Ok, im done...
