aem v2 intake
undecided on header, prolly dc 4-1
unorthadox pulleys.
civic type r cams
p&p job on head
type r lsd
hydro tanny with stage 1 cluch
and im getting it dyno tuned and chipped after about 1000 miles

does anybody have a similar setup and what will i be runnin if im inbetween average and really good driver. my freinds i race a lot tell me im good but honeslty i dont think im as great as they make me out to be.

and any ideas on the header ? im still tyring to find the best one.

I really want to be a dick right now,but I won't,just learn to spell, capital letters, proper punctuation, and grammar.Sorry it is a pet pev of mine, having to translate someones lack of care in taking the few extra seconds to make themselves sound like they care for a response.
Anyway, there is no way to tell you, that you will run XX.XX time. There are to many factors involved.I can say that if you did that to your car you'd still be running slower than an si with the same bolt ons so around a 15.00-17.00 like I said depending on a hundred different factors.

"hydro tranny" is kinda vague... Which one? But I'd say you should be doing better than an Si. You've got the bigger block, and if you're running type r cams, and actaully tuning it, you should be pulling 15's or better.

Sorry about the spelling. I go to a junior college called blinn and they do not expect that of me. What factors do you need to know, i tried to put as much as i could on there time being. what else will i need to do to get down into the 14's. i will be sprayind a 50 shot and i run 16.2s with the sohc. but i figured the 100 exra horses i get would knock my times down some. they guy helping me biuld this has told me i should be pulling about 220 all motor hp and be faster than a gsr. I have been trying to be conservative but i figured im pulling about 150 now maybe but withthe spray and lsd i could knock a full second off my time . but i really want to get down into the 14s. i also forgot to mention the 16.2 was run on rims that wiegh more than the factory steelies on sucky tires. i bought a set of center lines today that i can throw about 50 feet with one arm that are i think 15 x8 or 9 that i will prolly put slicks or lo pro nitto 555r or some kind of drag radial on.

and also i mgiht be getting the turbo stuff off a freinds wrecked 95 eclipse gs-t, he had the stock on ( 16g?) with factory side mount intercoler. with 5psi of boost and a bov and the propper piping and everythign with a v-afc what could i do with that. ? how much of a gain could i get with that.at 5 psi with a 50 shot on the above listed setup, like what would you guess as total whp. im still learning all the turbo stuff so im not going to make a fool of myself. im trying to learn more.

and as for the tranny its a gsr with a type r lsd. was gonna go full type r (integra not civic ) but costs too much

With a REALLY good driver, that setup will hit high 14's.

Low 15's avg driver.

Of course there are other factors i.e. track conditions, weather, etc etc etc

This is from "Sport Compact Car". Make your own decision on the turbo.

"The stock first gen turbo is a Mistu TD05-14B and is good for around 250HP. While this turbo will make decent power, most are dead or dying from old age. The exhaust housing and wasetgate area will be cracked and the bearings worn. Cranking up the boost is a good way to finish. Upgrades are cheaper than the factory turbo and are often more a matter of necessity.
Under the guise of reducing turbo lag, Mitsu switched to a Garrett T-25 turbo on the second gen cars. It's speculated the switch was actually driven by cost reduction and domestic parts count requirements. What isn't questioned is how poorly the little T-25 performs. With just minor increases in boost, the turbo's efficiency drops off rapidly as it's unable to maintain boost at high rpm. Nearly any turbo upgrade will feel like a completely different engine."

So as you see, even if you could get the mitsu turbo to fit on your civic, it may not last long. You'd be better off with a different one. They sell kits on the net and e-bay. You'd be better off going that route.

a stock GST uses a T25 not a 16G, the 16G is the upgrade setup. I'm running a IHI ball bearing turbo on my 00ex, when i was on 5.5 pounds unintercooled i pulled a 9.49 which is like a 14.7. I'm at 7 pounds intercooled now, shooting for a low 14

Ok.
Im about to finalize everything with my parts guy. Here is my final setup
B18a1 block with redone internals
99 civic si head p&p
Greddy turbo kit, running at 7 lbs of boost with FMIC
2.25 inch cat back ( will upgrade soon but cant afford rightnow)
Civic type r cams
50 shot ( looking for nx wet kit with some kind of purge for my CF invader hood)

what do you think i will run with /without slicks./ what domestic can i outrun ?
