Default Please help! 2001 Civic suspension problem

Last week I hit a pot hole going approx. 30 - 35 mph and ever since I have noise coming from the suspension on the front driver's side. I took it to my mechanic and they replaced the 2 front lower control arm bushings. The noise did not go away and it's actually worse now. I hear the noise when I go over bumps or even when the road I am on isn't perfectly smooth. It's a clunking noise. It's not a CV axle - there is no clicking noise when I make turns. The car doesn't steer or break any different then before I hit the pot hole. What else could be the problem and how do I diagnose? I can't keep spending hundreds of dollars fixing things that aren't the problem. Please help!

you probably bent your wheel or bubbled your tire. Depending on how bad the pothole was.

Best way to check is to pull the wheel off, and run your finger along the outside and inside of the lip. You should feel it. Maybe even see it without even running your finger. If it's the tire there should be a bubble on the outside or inside of the tire. Also could be a belt in the tire was shocked hard enough to cause internal damage.

If you do find a bend or bubble some shops can fix the bend by counter weighting it, most cannot especially the Jiffy Lube types that don't take the time to diagnose and really find the problem.
