Default Civic or RSX

Right now i have a 1998 Civic 2dr EX with plans on a B18c swap...
i currenty pay 100 for the 185 car payment...

i was thinking about getting an RSX Type-S and just taking over the full car payment...

what do you think? Save or go with the RSX?

if you can afford it, why would you not want an rsx?

If it were a base RSX, I'd do the swap. The S however, is worth the dough. I almost bought one myself, but my R came along instead.

do the swap you'll be faster than the rsx
but still you need more mods to get faster.

i'm a big hybrid fan, so i say swap.

if you aren't much of a wrench turner buy the rsx if that's what you want (wrx). you need to dumb a lot into a civic to make it go fast.

type-s has got more style than the swap and a sweet bose system
but the civic will be faster and not put you in more debt with bigger car payments so i'd take the civic cause i hate debt

rsx's insurance may be more, especially with full coverage for 3+ years

Having a car myself that has a swaped engine (SR20DET in a 240) It requires a lot of work not only to put it in but to maintain it. You will void your warrantee and have to do all work yourself or take it to an expensive a$$ performance shop.

It is a money drain ::trust me:: but well worth it. I do all my work myself so that saves money. But there is always work to be done. Ask anyone with a swap and they will say the same.
