Default 94 civic coupe suspension overhaul

I've been dealing with a bouncy suspension since i bought the car 2 years ago... enough is enough. i hope to get working on it with a few buddies of mine this summer.

The one problem is, with a 16 year old, bone stuck suspension to work with, I am clueless on where to start. Any suggestions would be well appreciated

Most cases the boucey-ness is not enough shock (for the springs you have) or the shocks are blown.

I know for a fact that my struts are destroyed as are my springs. Driving on them is practically dangerous. I'm thinking some skunk2 coilovers, probably replace all of the control arms (probably also skunk2), depending on costs i may be looking at a rear sway bar and front and rear camber kits for when i FINALLY lower it.

Can't lower it too much though cuz the roads here SUCK.

Like I said before any feedback is appreciated. I'm kinda new to the aftermarket world and most of what I know has come from the internet and some friends who are just a little bit more experienced than me >_>

I had Koni Reds(non adjustable) and Tein S-techs on my Integra before I sold it. The ride quality was perfect and so was the drop. Only set me back 500ish for the set. I coupled those with Omni-power front uppper, front lower, and rear lower control arms along with skank2 strut braces and rear tie bar and the handling was stellar compared to stock. My next step was sway bars, but I sold the car before I had the chance to buy them.

if i were you i would do some agx adjustables with some tein h tech springs. those springs will drop your car about an inch or less and give it a clean look and wont look all crappy like some of those slammed cars out there with crazy camber problems and their heated or cut springs. You will deff. love the ride with that suspension.

Control arms will not do really anything except for bling. And I'd be careful about buying suspension pieces from Ebay even to save a couple $$$. Check out Tire Rack as they have a huge selection of suspension components.

So Civic what Honda/Acura you looking for & price. If it's Acura get yourself a Integra GSR or if it's a Honda you can look for a EF or EG. Not sure what your like & $$ is.

Good Luck
