Default brake questions

whats a better upgrade, bigger calipers, or rear disc? and whats the difference (i plan to mostly drag race)

Bigger calipers. 90% of your braking power is up front. Look at motorcycles. They have huge front brakes.
Of course if you got sh!tty tires it wont matter.

If you have a 5G Civic, then just get a GSR suspension setup. Should be good enough ... cheaper too

I did the GSR braking system in my car, AEM brake pads, and Brembo crossdrilled/slotted rotors....

with very sticky tires, I can still lock all 4 up. With very sticky tires, and a full passenger/cargo load i can still lock all 4 up.

Since when did locking up your wheels become a good thing. You can't rate brakes on their wheel lock up ability in fact that's something you don't want in brakes.

best cheap upgrade will to get better brake pads.

get more aggressive street pads with high coefficent of drag

bigger calipers wont do that much if you still have stock pads
