my friend Stefen took out his back seat in his 4 door automatic Jetta for...no reason at all, near as I can tell. I think he has some cheesy subs that kinda stick through. I guess his neon underbody lights were so heavy he need to shed weight elsewhere

anyway, yeah we all ***** at him, because he has a freakin SEDAN but no room for anyone cept him and his lady.

Just don't take out you back seat unless you are a hardcore racer like CivicSiRacer or someone like that. Stripped interior is the gayest thing ever on a car that is daily driven. Why do you wanna ride around in a "soda can" for all intensive purposes?

As for the weight reduction comment, there really isn't much weight to be saved by removing just your back seats IMO. If you really think you'd like the way it looks and feels anyway, go for it.

roll cage and subs in the same sentence seems ironic.

i see no point in having a roll cage unless your car is a daily track car. i'd spend that money on driving classes, and i'll guarantee you and your car will perform better on the track without the rollcage with a full sytem in your trunk.

but its ur car...do what you want to do.

flush mount subs would rAwK! But a rollcage with flush mount would just be dumb. Wouldn't make sense even for show IMO
