detonation?

Default detonation?

pulled head thinking blown head gasket, come to find out looks like pistons are gone, possible causes detonation???




the block is a d16z6, 9.2:1 cr,15psi 440 injectors JE pistons

just check to see if the vavles are sitting correctly, check by squerting some wd40 into them and making sure they dont leak. i think its wd40 you can you, anyone?

Is it just the photo or does it look there is some damage(slight re-shaping of the dome).

Cause? Maybe the 15psi and not enough fuel? Hehe.

The 440's are adequate. Does have an upgraded fuel pump and a progressive FPR?
