Default quick coilover/strut question

i have a 98 civic ex will springs and struts from a 93 civic si fit on my 98 ex?

I don't believe so I think it has to be 96 an up but I could be wrong.

I'm thinking the fronts will fit but the rears will not. The 96+ rear control arms are different, and I don't think the struts are interchangeable. Not 100% sure on that, though.

It could work, but your spring rates will totally be off.

How so? EG's and EK's are pretty much the same weight. EK's are a little heavier, model for model, but you don't buy different springs when you have a heavy load of groceries... because that's basically the weight difference.
