What mods do you have?
1998 Civic DX hatch, red
I don't think any thing I've put on my civic is SHOW quality, so I removed it from my list.
CF hood:
-----------
Likes: Looks great, reflects crazy colors in the sunlight, light weight
Dislikes: worried about it getting messed up or stolen
Go value: lighter than stock hood
Where did you get it? ebay
How much did you pay? $300
Would you get it again? Definitely
rota slipstreams/Kumho:
--------------------
Likes: light weight, race looking, I like black rims
Dislikes: n/a
Go value: light weight
Where did you get it? Traded friend 17" shu wheels/tires
How much did you pay? ^^^
Would you get it again? Yep (I don't like the Kuhmo tire)
pieced together turbo kit:
--------------------------------
garrett t3/t4 turbine, vortech FMU 10:1, in-tank walbro 255 HP fuel pump, starion intercooler, d-series mani, TIAL wastegate, XS manual boost controller, HKS SSQ BOV, HKS turbo timer type 1, autometer tach w/ shift light, boost gauge, air/fuel ratio gauge, custom 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" cat, 2.5" full exhaust, home made charge pipes and oil lines.
quick story: I built this turbo kit to go in my 91 integra, I dropped in a 97 b18b motor LS tranny. It took me 4 months to get the turbo kit together, in the mean time my teg got totaled. So this turbo kit is being transformed to go in this civic I bought 3 wks ago. My last piece is a flange to weld to the turbo mani so I can put the wastegate on, should be in tomorrow; I'll be boosting this weekend. Hopefully.
Likes: turbos are cool
Dislikes: took me too long to put together, and I'm working on my patience
Go value:
Where did you get it? ebay, thepartstrader.com, friends
How much did you pay? $2000
Would you get it again? I would have rather bought the drag kit and put it on the car in one weekend.
Crow enterprises 5pt harness:
-------------------------------------
Likes: keeps you safe
Dislikes: takes a while to get used to, takes a while to buckle up
Go value: I like being glued to the seat, you don't move going around corners and my shifts feel more quick.
Where did you get it? http://www.crowenterprizes.com
How much did you pay? $160 (2 pair)
Would you get it again? Yep, they worked great when I got in that wreck. Cheapest harness around. I don't use the harness between my legs (so really 4pt) and I got these for the racing seats I had in the 91 integra.
OBX Universal muffler:
---------------------------
Likes: looks cool, cheap, sounds good
Dislikes: n/a
Go value: sounds like I'm going faster...
Where did you get it? ebay
How much did you pay? $100 (shipped)
Would you get it again? yes
OBX short shifter:
----------------------
Likes: shorter throws
Dislikes: freakin handle broke off when I was shifting into 3rd...
Go value: quicker shifts
Where did you get it? ebay
How much did you pay? $55 (w/ type R shift knob
)
Would you get it again? no
Eibach sportline springs
----------------------------
Likes: lowers the car nicely
Dislikes: n/a
Go value: lower center of gravity, quicker corners
Where did you get it? ebay
How much did you pay? $125
Would you get it again? yes
Brembo cross drilled / slotted rotors
---------------------------------------------
Likes: never experience brake fade, stops excellent
Dislikes: when they get wet, small rust spots in the cross drilled holes. looks crappy
Go value: negative
Where did you get it? ebay
How much did you pay? $255 (front & back)
Would you get it again? yes
I had these on my integra and i'm going to convert the civic brakes to integra brakes. soon.
Hope this helps someone in his or her search for parts.

you ****ers are long winded as hell. jesus, they dont want a book, they want a mod list...stop listing your ****ing stickers and air fresheners
btw, i had my springs on backwards, i fixed them tonight, it is an entirely different car. I would guess im still at a 2" + drop for less than $300 and it handles good as hell. It was hard to tell the difference between the different weight springs.
anyway,
buy the $88 ground control knockoffs on ebay, they rock. the guy was nice as hell too when i had trouble.

If you don't like it don't read them. People are supposed to be as helpful as possible with their mods. Someone might be looking at a APC muffler to wonder if it's good or bad.

its just, i would have love to read some of these, but frankly im not patient enough to go through the half a page some people are listing. maybe when this is all over we could compile it into sub categories or something.
whatever! you people still need to be more to the point, this is america damnit!
