Default Engine Internals

Could somebody throw up a link to a site that sells engine internals and has them for a good price? also a variety of different brands would be nice.

westcoast, you built you own engine right? Did you have the whole rotating assembly balanced? or did you just bolt it all together? how hard was it build your own engine?

It was simple, you just have to have the right tools...

I had the whole assembly (crank, rods, pistons, clutch, pulley, flywheel) balanced at one time.

thats cool, its what I am thinking about doing. I wanna beef up the internals for boost on a GSR motor. What are the specs on your engine? compression ratio? and all that good stuff?

I'm not westcoast, but I do know what is good for boost with your B18c. Theres a lot of differant things you can do, its basically how much money you have to spend. My buddy ran 14 pounds and spray for the whole summer on his and didnt blow a ring until fall, and that was on a bone stock bottom end. If i had a few thousand dollars to spend I'd do: JE 9:1 comp. pistons, Eagle rods, block guard and race clutch. And dont forget LSD, that will make or break your e.t.'s. Balance the whole bottom end and run 12 pounds of boost all day long, daily driven. I have more setups too list, let me know what you think:thumbup: and how deep your pockets are.

yeah, like I wanna know how they balance the bottom end and why the do it. Also, what compression ratio should I go for? I don't have any dynos near my house near as I can tell, so I was thinking like 9.8:1, or 9.5:1 something like that? would this be good? I do wanna have my block resleaved as well...
