yeah dude. For the past 2 months and beyond, Crucial "lived, ate, breathed, and sleeped" his car. He's put in some hard ass work in it.

 

Hey, you never answered the question about calling the cops... did you? It is hard to file a lawsuit for damages if there is no police report to correspond to it. Calling the cops on someone driving without a license is the single best thing to do, esp. if they just hit your car... that is a big money lawsuit waiting for you to collect from. Bad luck, yes, but the cash potential of a lawsuit greatly outweighs the damages.

 

if she doesnt have insurance,..then you can contact your insurance and they will pay for the damages and then go after her for the money they dished out to fix your car,...that does suck though man,..i would get another hatchback just you can have spare parts,..i would do that with both of mine but they both are nice,..i bought one thinking i would just use it as a beater and for spare parts but i turned it into a sleeper,..the interior is gutted so i can use spare parts for the interior only,..and outxider,..there are numerous threads along with other sites that give how tos on how to paint the housings of your stock headlight units,..do a search and im sure you will be satifisfied,..good luck

 

my parents bought a new odyssey in november '02. last week, someone rear ended it slighty at costco and made license plate screw marks in the bumper. we didn't even see the person who hit it. it was a hit and run. so i feel for you man. were most likely not repairing it until even worse damage is done.

You live in Miami, get used to it. Thats a common thing down here dude you should know that. You're lucky that hasnt happened to you before. Chances are she was some old Cuban lady riding around in some car with no insurance and when she got out of her car she was like "Que?":chuckles:

 

so true....getting a $100 for the damage, that will be enough for a new bumper and to get it painted.

dude, that sucks. i've never had a brand new paint job, but i'm as protective over my 10 year old paint job as i would be on a new one. it's all that i got so i try to take as best care of it as possible. i'm still the guy parking in the big parking spots where only one car can park on the side of you. it's definitely kept me away from the dings. i started after i got a big ding that cracked the paint.
