Default Radiator Support Q

i have a 96-98 civic, looking to do the 99-00 front end conversion. I don't want to ghetto rig anything, so I was just going to spring for the 99-00 radiator support since I can get it for dirt cheap. does the radiator support just un-bolt from the front of the car, or do I need to get a body shop to weld it on for me?

I'm pretty sure it's welded on.

Well, scratch that idea.

Can anyone tell me how exactly do you have to modify the 99-00 bumper to fit onto the 96-98 radiator support? pics would be nice.

thanks again guys

the radiator support is spot welded on,..you can always tear off your stock one and ~bolt~ on a new support,...this is what i did,..but i only put on a new support for the conversion because i fawked my car up,..it would be much easier to modify a 99-00 front bumper to fit,..i think i heard somewhere you have to cut small triangles and shiet to make it fit right,..not sure on where to cut though

that sounds easy enough...

also, with a different radiator support, I take it the headlights from 99-00 have the same mounting points as the 96-98. they must not have changed much at all...:dunno:
