your shocks will go bad before your springs will. the only thing i see going bad with springs is rust.

hmm thats a good point. But how could i tell if my springs were rusted? cuz my car creaks in the back when its like standing still or when sometime sits in it. could i use rust and that as a good exucse?

also, the eibach pro-kits should not cause me to get new shocks right?

Just go buy some drop springs and slap them on with out them knowing. Damn, was that all that hard. They won't notice a 1.5' drop.

springs dont wear out or rust. they last a lifetime. they're those things that never need replacing on a car

but most people are unaware of this .. .. .

IF YOU DO convince them that the springs have to go, here are some good pointers and advice i used on my (anti lowering) parents to get them to lemme take care of the springs

honda charges 400 dollars on JUST labor to change springs

honda charges more than 300 dollars for oem springs

h&r sports go for about 150 shipped  high quality made in germany

wow, your parents are stupid.

Just buy your own car, so they can't tell you what to do

tell them when the car is lower you have better handling, especially in the rain

the only thing wrong with my coilovers is my c-v joints went bad, and the shocks are worn really bad. I like coilovers better anyway, cause you can adjust them accordingly.. car shows make it really low, driving around put it at a 1.5" drop.
