hi i have a 93 honda civic ex, i was trying to pull a deck out from my car after i was about to pull all the way out i see smoke coming out. i look a wire was burning all the way in side going somewhere to the left from the deck compartment was at. ALSO DIDN'T UNPLUG THE BATTERY WIRE. i went to unplug the battery terminal. tape everything up so it wont touch anything. plug the terminal back it power right up with lights and everything. the power to the car seem fine. then after i touch the burn wire agian(just the copper left) the whole car looses power. now the car seem dead, no light no head light no dash light nothing just dead.

car have ignition start and alarm system. the only thing that work is door unlock and ignition start.

Please help! im just thinking maybe its the fuse. and what was the wired that was burnt.

 

Check your fuses. I accidentily did that a while ago and the underhood audio/interior light fuse blew.

 

can you figure what color wire burned and from where and pictures would be helpful
