Rust on Booster...Will it Still Work? PICS
Yeah, I remeber reading that article before I did mine. It didn't really go too much into detail what was needed and double flaring is a lot harder than they make it sound. I broke two flaring tools before I finally got mine done. Here's some quick pics to help explain things.
Stock line

Modified and installed

You really can't tell from the pictures, but that fitting is different. Also, you can tell that it was a lot easier without the engine in the way to do all of that. Good luck. Seeya.

Did you get the fitting that goes to the opening that is facing the camera in the first picture. The GS-R MC/Booster will physically bolt into an EG civic (it's a tight fit getting it in past the strut tower, but it will go) but one of the lines that come from the prop valve to the MC uses a larger fitting to go into that hole on the MC (same size line, different fitting, Honda's retarded sometimes). If you don't have that fitting, it's not going to work. You will have to take the stock Civic line, rebend it to go to the oposite side of the MC and then cut the line to remove the old fitting, slide on the new one and then redo the double flare. I recommend you buy some spare tubing from a parts store and practice on the double flare first or just take it to a garage. Also, get a fitting wrench from Craftsman too. It looks like a box end of a wrench but with one side cut open (basically grabs all sides with a slit to let the pipe through). You don't want to round off those connections.

No, i didn't get the fitting piece. It'll still work though right?
It will not go together without that fitting! The opening in the side of the MC that the fitting goes into is a larger size than the normal smaller fittings your stock hard lines use. The numbers are wrong, but it would be like trying to screw a 10 mm bolt into a hole designed for a 12 mm one. In order to install that larger 1" MC, you have to get that fitting. It sucks too because it's a real weird piece and I couldn't find a duplicate in a parts store. You may be able to get one from an Acura dealership but I didn't try (I had one). It's a really stupid setup actually. It uses the same 3/8 line (not sure on the numbers, sorry, I did this last winter) as the rest of the system, but uses a fitting that would normally be used for a 1/4" line. The 1/4 fitting won't work becuase the center hole and seating surfaces are wrong and it won't seal (I believe). It's complicated, but suffice to say, you need that fitting to install that MC in your car. Good luck. Seeya.
