for those of you that have a short shifter... does the shift knob get hot during driving? cuz my friend has a no name brand shift know with type r knob and it get pretty warmed up when she drives. is that normal???

cuz i'm getting a skunk2 shifter for christmas... can't wait.

A short shifter in a Civic places the shift linkage and the bottom of the shifter pretty close to the exhaust. That can warm the shifter/knob up a bit.

cool... warm would be good during winter time...
