Default Anyone Familiar with MSD 2 Step Rev Limiters?

Looking to get one of these. I knwo you need the two-step rev control box, and the soft touch controller. MSD doesn't have any wiring or installaion guides.

Anyone here using this? :driving:

I talked with a guy who can chip my ecu for $75. He said he's certified by honda, and has his own shop. He was saying something about changing vtec engagment to a different rpm, rather than 6k, launch control, and the like.

The MSD combo is like $300, maybe more, not too sure.

Also not sure if I want some guy playing with my ecu. There's a '96 coupe at the local slavage yard, with the same motor as me, and a manual trans. Would it be worth it to get the ecu from that car for a few bucks? This way I will have my stock one incase the guy messes up the donor ecu.

What other ways are you talking about? Please elaborate..

I have a Zex cam. I got it for cheap, and decided what the hell. I really don't care about changing vtec, just want launch control.

The car is a 5 speed. The cam, had a generic cheapo short ram, but got an Injen cold air intake from a guy on Craig's List today for $50, Megan header and test pipe. I also want to add a 50 shot of nitrous just for shits and kicks for the track.

I read thru a whole turbo build and figured that it's something that I can do on a week end, and not as hard as I figured. But that won't happen until I find everything and piece is together.

First before any of that, I'm doing suspension. I ordered Skunk2 rear lower control arms, front and rear camber kits, and Koni Yellow struts earlier today. Going to get a front and rear sway bar next week, and some other misc. things.
