Default Cruise control question

I may get yelled at for posting this, but I have a cruise and I want it to work correctly. If you don't have one, it's not my fault.

Anyway,

The cruise on my 96 civic lx works but has a delay before it picks up. If I'm cruising at 55 and I press the cruise button, the speed will drop to about 50-52 before it picks up and then it will go up to 55 and hold. Anyone know why that delay is there? What needs to be adjusted???

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Seems odd that Honda would do something like that. I wonder what would happen if I adjusted the cable that goes from the servo to the throttle? It's just a pain cause when you turn on the cruise, it should hold it right there. It does the same thing when I hit the resume button too. I don't know...
