does anyone know of any reasonably priced engine hoists/lifts i could find? also is an ls engine/auto tranny (dont feel like a auto-manual conversion) a direct bolt in for a 95 lx?

if you're only planning on swapping once, borrow a hoist or rent one. Pretty big item to store permanently.

As for the swap, start in a junkyard or a local forum.

And for the record, don't be an idiot. Civic2Scooby gave you a perfectly good answer to your first question :slap:
